July has been really good for Ahi (Tuna) catches, if you can find a boat that is. This month has been very busy since travel restrictions eased up, charter boats were almost fully booked up before the month even started. If you are planning to come in August, please book early as August is filling up as well. Boats have been catching Ono (wahoo) and Blue Marlin as well, but the Ahi have been the most reported catch this month so far. Blue Marin have been in the 200lb range lately. Hoping for some larger beasts to show up this month and into August. Right now is prime time for Ahi, Blue Marin and Ono. Boats have also brought in some nice Mahimahi even though it’s not their prime time. We tend to get more Mahi’s come the fall season. Weather has been good so it’s a good time to go fishing!
